Sourcing Philosophy

FROM THE EARTH, WITH INTENTION.

Every ingredient that goes into a Sacred Journey product is chosen with one question in mind: would we take this ourselves? If the answer is not an immediate yes, it does not make it into the formula. That standard costs more, takes longer, and eliminates every shortcut this industry loves to hide behind. We chose it anyway.

Most brands in this space cut corners where it counts — weak formulas dressed up in loud packaging, underdosed blends that never quite get you where you want to go, and mystery ingredients that leave you guessing what you actually put in your body. We built Sacred Journey to be the opposite. Every gummy, every chocolate bar, every blend is precision-dosed and crafted from clean, premium ingredients so the experience is real, repeatable, and worth coming back to.

Transparency is not a trend for us — it is how we operate. Every link in our supply chain is documented, audited, and accountable.

Farm Partners

We work directly with certified organic mushroom cultivators — no anonymous commodity brokers. Every growing partner is vetted in person before a single ingredient enters our supply chain.

Third-Party Lab Testing

Every batch of gummies, chocolate bars, and blends is tested by independent ISO 17025-accredited laboratories for potency, heavy metals, pesticides, and microbial contamination.

Batch Traceability

Every product ships with a lot number that traces back to the specific harvest, extraction date, and lab report. Full chain of custody from farm to finished product.

No Contract Manufacturers

We do not white-label. Our formulations — from gummy blends to chocolate infusions — are developed in-house and produced under direct oversight. Never outsourced.

Ethical Labor Standards

Fair wages, safe conditions, and long-term relationships with the people who grow and process our ingredients. No exploitation at any point in the chain.

Ingredient Origin Transparency

We disclose the country of origin for every functional mushroom extract in our products. Our ingredients are sourced from their native growing regions — not anonymous bulk suppliers.

Eco Packaging

PACKAGING THAT DOESN'T COST THE PLANET.

RECYCLED, COMPOSTABLE, ACCOUNTABLE.

Our shipping mailers are made from 100% recycled content and are certified compostable through TUV Austria — not just "biodegradable" (a term with no legal standard). Inner packaging uses molded fiber trays from post-consumer waste, replacing styrofoam and plastic void fill entirely.

Every outer carton carries the How2Recycle label with clear curbside recycling instructions. We partner with EcoEnclose for our mailer supply chain — their materials are third-party audited for recycled content claims, so when we say 100%, it is verified, not estimated.

LESS PACKAGING. MORE INTENTION.

We eliminated promotional inserts, tissue paper wrapping, and decorative extras from every shipment. Nothing ships inside our boxes that does not protect or inform. If it does not serve the product or the customer, it does not exist.

All printed materials — product labels, gummy pouch packaging, chocolate bar wrappers, and outer cartons — use soy-based inks and are printed on FSC-certified stock. FSC certification means the fiber source is managed for biodiversity and long-term ecological health. Our printer holds FSC Chain of Custody certification, so traceability extends from the forest to the finished label on your product.
